Board packs

Included with: every plan.

A board pack is the set of papers for one meeting, assembled once and read by everyone.

User guide​

Before you start​

The meeting must exist and have agenda items. Papers attach to items, not to the meeting.

Assembling​

Meetings → the meeting → Pack. Add papers against each item. Pam flags items with no paper.

Publishing​

Publish when complete. Directors are notified and the pack becomes read-only.

What the other directors see​

A single pack in reading order, with each paper against its agenda item. They read in the browser rather than downloading, so annotations stay attached.

Technical notes​

  • Tables: board_paper, agenda_item
  • Published packs are immutable — corrections are a new revision, so a director can always tell which version they read
  • Documents live in object storage, not the database; access is per-board

Support notes​

"A director cannot open a paper"​

Usually: they were invited after publication, or their access was revoked. Check: their status in Settings → Your board.

"The wrong version was published"​

Publish a revision. The earlier version stays in the record — a pack that silently changes is worse than one that was wrong, because nobody can tell which they read.

Known limitations​

No page-level annotation yet; comments attach to the paper.
