Pam

Pam is an AI company secretary. She knows your board's history and Australian governance law, and she is available on every screen.

User guide​

Ask her the way you would ask a person: "do we need a special resolution to change the constitution?", "what did we decide about reserves last year?", "who has declared an interest in this supplier?"

She cites what she relies on​

Every legal answer names the Act and section, linked to the text. If she cannot find authority, she says so rather than producing something plausible.

What she will not do​

Pam drafts; named humans approve. She does not approve minutes, cast votes, or make decisions. That is a design commitment.

She also does not give legal advice. She points at the law and your record; what to do about it is the board's judgement.

Technical notes​

  • Feature key: pam — on every plan
  • Model: Claude on AWS Bedrock, ap-southeast-2, via an Australian-only inference profile enforced by IAM
  • No training on customer data. No fallback to another provider — if Bedrock is unavailable Pam fails rather than silently routing elsewhere
  • No prompt or response text is logged. Model id, latency and token counts only
  • Costs credits per call — see Credits

Support notes​

"Pam stopped answering"​

Usually: the board has exhausted its credits. Check: Settings → Billing shows the balance. Fix: the allowance renews with the subscription, or buy a top-up.

"Pam cited the wrong Act"​

Usually: organisation type or jurisdiction is wrong in Settings. See Organisation settings.

"Pam says she cannot find authority"​

Working as intended. She will not invent a citation, and an honest "I cannot find this" is worth more than a plausible fabrication.
