User guide​

An action arises from a decision, has an owner and a due date, and is either open or complete. Pam chases what is overdue.

An action nobody owns is the most common governance failure there is — SanctumBoard shows unowned actions rather than letting them sit.

Technical notes​

  • Tables: action, linked to decision via decision_id
  • Board memory derives produced (decision → action) and owns (person → action) edges, and flags actions with no owner
  • Chasing runs from /api/cycle/tick

Support notes​

"Someone is being chased for a completed action"​

Usually: completed in the meeting but never marked complete in the record.

"An action has no owner"​

Deliberately visible. Assign one — an unowned action is how a decision quietly fails to happen.
